About Your Morning Tá
Where the idea came from
Your Morning Tá started from a simple gap: there were plenty of newsletters and news sites, but not many ways to get a quick, Irish-focused business roundup with the context needed to understand what actually matters. The idea first came about in 2025, before being properly developed in spring 2026.
How it developed
The format was tested, refined and simplified over a few weeks before launch. The early idea was more light-hearted, but it gradually became clearer that the real value was in making business news easy to understand, quick to read and genuinely useful.
What it is today
Your Morning Tá is a free five-minute Irish business briefing, published every weekday morning. It covers the Irish business news that matters, the global stories worth knowing and the context you need to make sense of them.
Where it’s going
The newsletter is still the core, but YMT is growing beyond the inbox. That means more LinkedIn and Instagram content, future face-to-camera explainers, longer evergreen articles and, eventually, events and other ways to bring Irish business context to readers.
The idea behind it all
The aim is really quite simple… Help people start the Irish workday better informed, without needing to spend an hour reading several different publications.

Growing up around business sparked a long-standing interest in current affairs and the wider business world. YMT was built around a simple idea: that being commercially aware, understanding what is happening around you, and making sense of the wider business context all matter in professional life.
